What is the best way to address this?

@cmbirk I think we need to think about how addresses are used. If they are mostly reviewed by humans for verification purposes (instead of being needed for automated processes, for example Amazon needs your address to be exact because no human looks at it), we should make the address form more general and just include a couple of general text fields (instead of splitting it up by street, zipcode, state, make it into address line 1, address line 2, address line 3, etc.). If we need them to be machine processable, then we need to think of a schema that can handle both US and international addresses. I'm sure something like that exists out there.

Bumping this up in priority since it goes hand-in-hand with the i18n work ( #513 ).
