xygrib is a part of Debian 11
https://packages.debian.org/bullseye/xygrib
since release 1.2.6 there are no newer stable releases :(

I took a closer look at the packages in bullseye and was shocked. These are old "supposedly" 1.2.6 which in reality are still 1.2.5 I have decided to continue to provide the releases of XyGrib via my repo. Corresponding branch for "bullseye" is now online

XyGrib in bullseye was packaged incorrectly. It is possible to use the packages for OpenPlotter. Add oss.boating.gpg.key (https://www.free-x.de/deb4op/oss.boating.gpg.key) to GPG-Ring and add the repository e.g.

deb [signed-by=/usr/share/keyrings/oss.boating.gpg] https://www.free-x.de/deb4op bullseye main

Then as usually
sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade
