The logic of when a paper is taken off from the Ethics Chairs Console and what logic triggers the "unflagging" notification emails seems to have some issues; could you please share the implemented logic?
If a paper is desk rejected it seems to be fine to do it, but ideally papers should not be taken off the console just because one of the reviewers changed their flag, as (1) other reviewers/AE may have still flagged it for review, and (2) the ethics review may already be underway.
For the two papers below, it seems like the AE flag is still "Yes" but all three reviewers said "No" to the ethics review. For some reason, these papers are no longer on the Ethics chairs console despite the AE checklist saying Yes for ethics review.
