I miss this option a lot from Dashboard (comparting to Kibana.)
I think it's a very convenient feature.
Although I understant it'd be low priority

I mean some link or button to unfold mapping/settings information related to selected index in this screen

Tagging @kamingleung -@ahopp, I agree that this is needed. We are thinking about how we might enhance either Stack Management or index management to provide more information about mappings, schema and other index metadata and information.
