Imagery offset for "Custom" not saved

If one adjusts the image offset for a custom image layer, and then switches to another layer, such as Bing, and then switches back to the custom layer the offset is not remembered, even within the same session. I frequently switch between image layers in order to see if a feature is clearer, and having to readjust the offset takes extra time.
