Platform
Neither Web nor App - Oppia's Annual Report

Describe the request
We are updating Oppia's annual report for 2023. Previously, we had a volunteer help with the design for the 2022 report. For the 2023 report, we would require a designer to help with updating the content for 2023, and maybe some minor adjustments to the design for certain sections of the report.

Context for the request
Please provide enough context for the request. For example:
This is an existing project.

Link to PRD
See existing Annual Report here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uRe145ou9Ka5O2duTB-N-i89NVPEtxh1/view. The content for 2023 should be ready by end-March.

Information about deadlines/priorities
The content of the report should be ready by end-March. Hopefully, we can get the report design published and ready by end-May to June.

DESIGN APPROVAL CHECKLIST -- DO NOT EDIT.

  • UX Design approved (Android mocks should include dark mode)
  • UX Writing approved
  • Design Systems approved
  • Product approved

For a design project to be completed, it needs approval from UXD, UXW, DS and PM. Please tag the following reviewers when your project is ready (at least one reviewer for each of the 4 bullet points below):

Note: I've moved this to the Web team since this project will ultimately be published on Web.

@seanlip Does this project need a UXW?

@stepmalt I missed this, sorry, but yeah, perhaps worth assigning a UXW (just to make sure the language is consistent and also for the UXW team to have some idea of how we're describing Oppia in printed reports)?

Up to you and @tanzhirong though!

Hi @stepmalt @seanlip Yup I think it'll be good to have UXW just vet through the copy to ensure consistency, thanks!

Hi @seanlip! I'm the UXW assigned to review the content. Is there a link to the 2023 updated content, or should I review the original report?

Hi @tamiorendain! I think you'll want to review the 2023 updated content. Let me try and connect you by email to the folks working on this, so you can get the necessary materials -- stay tuned!

(EDIT: Done -- sent the email!)

@seanlip Thank you, email received! Just want to give a heads up: I'm traveling June 8-June 14, so I won't be making any editing progress during that time. If I get the updated copy before then, I'll try to edit quickly! Wanted to let you know in case you want to reassign the project.

Thanks @tamiorendain! No worries, I think it's fine to keep the project, just make sure Zhi Rong and Adetomiwa know what's going on. Have a good trip!

Putting font sizes from file in the comments section for easy reference (thanks @S4v8n for going over the InDesign File!)

"Here are the font sizes for the annual report:

Heading Title : 33pt
Subheading Title: 22pt
Body text: 11pt

For heading title I have seen some instances where there are two titles, and in this case the main heading is 36pt and the second heading is 33pt. The majority of the time when there is only one title, the default is 33pt.

Same for the subheading title, there are instances where there are multiple subheadings, Start with 22pt and if there is a need for a subheading within a subheading, use 18pt. "
