If this is a FEATURE REQUEST, please:
CSI volume provisioner should support XFS file system.

Versions

CCM Version: current

Environment: OCI managed kubernetes

  • Kubernetes version (use kubectl version): 1.19.12
  • OS (e.g. from /etc/os-release): Oracle Linux Server release 7.9
  • Kernel (e.g. uname -a): Linux 5.4.17-2136.304.4.1.el7uek.x86_64 SMP x86_64 GNU/Linux
  • Others:

What happened?

tried to add oci-bv storage class with fsType set to XFS and it doesn't work.

What you expected to happen?

get a volume provisioned and formatted with XFS

How to reproduce it (as minimally and precisely as possible)?

request a pv from a oci-bv storage class that has fstype set to xfs

Anything else we need to know?

We are working on this feature request and plan to release it in August, 2022.
