Provide .NET SDK for ORAS #6
Comments
@FeynmanZhou I am willing to work on this and I have prev experience working with the .net framework and I have also submitted my application for this. Could u pls guide me through first steps to get started with this. |
@khanjasir90 Thanks for your interest and submission. I think you should start with using ORAS CLI and ORAS-go library first. Understand the conceptual knowledge and functionality, then test it locally. After that, it will be easy to get started with .NET SDK. @shizhMSFT and @Wwwsylvia are the mentors for this LFX project. You can also ask them for some suggestions. |
@FeynmanZhou Thanks for this opportunity, I am interested in working on this. I have seen a few videos on ORAS and the workings of an OCI registry. I also applied some weeks ago 🔥🔥. |
Closing this issue as the LFX program has ended. |
What is the version of your ORAS CLI
v0.16.0
What would you like to be added?
ORAS has Python and Golang SDK that allow developers to build their own clients on top of one of the libraries. Similarly, developing a .NET SDK will enable .Net developers to use ORAS API and enhance the ORAS ecosystem.
This issue is open for the CNCF LFX Mentorship 2023 program. If you are interested in implementing this issue, please let us know.
Why is this needed for ORAS?
Enable .Net developers to use ORAS API and enhance the ORAS ecosystem.
