I am trying to get a small tensile dogbone pull model to solve with thick shell elements using the implicit solver. I can get it to start solving but it quickly fails. The goal is to replicate a implicit dynamic run from LS-DYNA that used the Newmark beta method with gamma 0.6, beta 0.38. Has anyone had success using the /IMPL/DYNA cards or something similar? Thanks for any advice! I have attached the input deck as well.
