Openradioss_gui not opening

Hello Openradioss community,

I have just started exploring Openradioss. I don't understand the how to run Openradioss_gui. When I try to execute vbs script (Right click, open with Python) using Python installed, the black screen comes and disappears.

I have windows 11 and tried to follow the procedure mentioned in the Openradiosss documentation > running Openradioss > python/tk guis for job submission, anim-vtk conversion and T01-csv conversion > Latest gui scripts.

Has anyone been through this problem? Any help or pointer is appreciated.

I'm demo it, how to start an OpenRadioss run using the GUI (even if it is an older version).
On Windows, you can try to run directly the .bat file.

Please put it into the "-np" filed.
In the "-nt" you can insert "4" (or whatever threads you can use on your machine).

Can you also try to use path and file names without special characters (like blancs):

I have changed the folder, now I think no error for analysis perspective. There is error as highlighted. Should I ignore that?

I don't mind continuing manually. However, I just want to know if the problem is with my system.

Hard to say...the STARTER is working, so it's strange why the ENGINE is not continuing.

Did you download the latest pre-compiled zip file for windows ?
If so, I will retry it, on my side.

If you run the vbs, or bat from command line (open a command window in the openradioss_gui folder) then you should see the error that is being flashed up in the window

Hello @MarianBulla,

My problem is solved after

1. Custom installation of Python, the problem was Python environment variable were not automatically set.

2. permission denied error for C:\Users...\AppData\Local\OpenRadioss_GUI for generating config.json file. I changed the permissions to everyone and it worked.
