Issue with Pushing Updates

Hello! I host a personal website on Github Pages. From time to time, I want to make updates to the website and push them via the Github Desktop. I often do a series of smaller pushes in a day rather than one big push, I believe this is common practice kind of like how we save work frequently on other tools. Lately on any given day, after I make one push, subsequent pushes do not go through and I get this error: "The remote disconnected. Check your Internet connection and try again."
My internet connection has been fine every single time I've received this error. What's going on?
Any insight would be much appreciated. Thank you!

I did a search and found this existing issue; it proposes many solutions; the most common one is:

I didn't even have such a large repository I needed to push, but had the same issue. My internet speed was at least 250mbps and the issue was there.

2 commands saved me and the push worked after that (notice I used insanely large postBuffer, but well, I needed it to work):

git config --global lfs.activitytimeout 120
git config --global http.postBuffer 557286400
