static files and incremental mode

Hiya lads

A question out of curiosity
When using jupyter-book incrementally, it seems to me that the static files located in my _static folder won't get updated in the output _build/html/_static folder

is this a known caveat, or am I doing something wrong ?

concrete steps

• run jupyter-book build .
• change _static/style.css under vs-code
• run jupyter-book build . again

at that point, I need to manually run
rsync -ai _static _build/html/_static
otherwise my changes won't trigger
