Multiple sources for channels

I recall that we can get multiple sources for the same channel if they have any by querying https://iptv-org.github.io/iptv/channels.json or https://iptv-org.github.io/iptv/index.m3u
But now I can only get one source for each channel. Which make sense in some way. But I'm thinking that we should have the option for users to see all the available sources, in the link above (or create a different one). Because it would be useful when the default url was not working or really slow, it gives user the chance to switch sources.
I noticed that multiple sources are available in the countries separated list, my ask is that can we make it also available in the combined list.

Along similar lines, I'm wondering how the bot identifies channels as being the same? Is it based upon having the exact same name (less the resolution part), or the same tvg-id, or something else?

The tvg-id can be the identifier. For example,
There are 5 channels named "CNNUSA.us" in https://github.com/iptv-org/iptv/blob/master/channels/us.m3u

But only one left in https://iptv-org.github.io/iptv/index.m3u

I guess it is the bot filtered only the first source for the channels with the same name when generating the complete list.

Every tag must be identical for the channel to be treated the same. Non-geoblocked stream with the best quality will be preferred over others in alphabetical order

It would be nice to reference this information somewhere in README file.
The base URL is not like for all EPG files. I figured out after looking in the sources. This is the URL for people looking for the solution.
