Here's a listing of proposals that could be beneficial for everyone.

1. Kodi & VLC playlist.

Kodi users have got some advantages : mpd streams with full Widevine support, certain additional things that permits more flexibility in streams...

I suggest we create a new branch called "kodi" that permits to add channels that Kodi natively supports. @Sphinxroot is a member and Kodi user, he can be more active in this area as it's his domain of expertise.

2. Group channels in m3u files by using brackets (needs additional scripting for final result)

Lots of channels have got different names for the same streams. A great idea would be to put them all in one line, followed by brackets to clearly differentiate the streams. Multilanguage streams won't be affected by this, as they're entirely different entities.

Please let me know if you have additional things to say related to these measures, or suggest changes.

Regarding # 2, could you provide an example of different names for the same stream? I think I know what you are describing but want to make sure.

As an example, the French playlist contains 2 versions of Francophonie24

Since the playlists are mainly remade by the bot on updates, it's just another way of seeing things up.

Thanks for the example of proposal # 2. I'm guessing we might end up with some long lines when listing multiple streams on the same line. Not a deal breaker, but just want to point it out. Other than that, it seems like a good idea to me.

I mean, as long as it's in a list, you can use line breaks to put each link like this
