Back again for Part 2 of UI / UX Reimagined - where we look at how your TV series will look and feel. If you missed Part 1 of UI / UX Reimagined feel free to read up beforehand. Otherwise, let's dive right in!

Emphasis continued

With the current design we felt TV series and their seasons were a little cumbersome to navigate. Emphasis on your media was lost as you navigated back and forth between the season pages and their separate episode pages. Yes, this back and forth was OK for the smaller series, however it only compounded the issue with the larger series.

How could we clearly and effectively emphasise your media with this layout?

The Solution

We identified by simply inlining the episodes within the season page, and essentially "swapping" out the episodes on season select - allowed your series to stay front and center for you and your users to enjoy. Emphasis was not lost, but enhanced through this simple yet effective approach:
