Not sure. I guess maybe at a later stage when it grows a lot more?

I found that all the questions posted in tickets are better indexed by Google... Chat content disappears... so not sure how to address it..

I expect that in some time it might grow significantly so the questions in Github issues will pollute the ticketing system. Then maybe all untracked discussions may go to a chat.

I am not opposed to it but I do not quite see dramatic needs for it at this stage. You are the first who expressed interest to collaborate (except my workmates who are using it without putting much public presence in github). So maybe we try it between you and me and see how it works and if it gives any benefits at this stage. And only if it works we put it in public?

PS: I am conservative because I have got so many channels of info addressed to me, so recently I started directing everything to my email :)

tbh Zulip is set to address it. imo it's something between email (it allows chatting via email as well!) and chats.

Are already, I made it that most privileges are gained by just joining. If somebody abuses it, we can turn it down.

Do note that for today we are on the free plan. We'll be upgraded in a day or two to the standard plan (open-source privileges).
