I've noticed that whenever I use some ncurses program, finalterm scrolls down whenever new windows are opened. Some programs don't behave very bad with this, but some others are a real pain to use with this issue. I suppose the correct behaviour for curses windows is to overlap the new window over the parent one, instead of scrolling the terminal. This for example, makes emacs for the terminal unusable, at least for me.
