Add guidence to versions given lack of new "releases" #1200

Given that there is large amounts of activity in this repo but no specific releases since 2016, is it currently advised to follow master?

We are currently un-pinning this at this point, but are not sure if this is the suggested route: braintreeps/vim_dotfiles#153

The readme does seem to suggest pulling master, it would just be nice to be explicit.
