I am not sure what the issue might be and this issue has not previously been reported. I can say that /dev/ttyUSB0 has been tested to work in the past. You could try "/dev/ttyUSB0;1" to force slave number 1 but it is the default. What homeassistant installation method are you using? If you are using a container did you run the modpoll test in the container? |

I am using the vm. However, your answer give the idea of adding the USB into the VM (which makes sense). I had to fix an issue where my user wasn't part of the vboxusers. Once I fixed that I was able to get add the SH-U11F to my vm and just like that it worked. |

Hello, I also have a SolArk 12K. I was able to get data while using modpoll (modpoll -0 -r 150 -c 20 -b 9600 -p none -s 1 /dev/ttyUSB0) I have the SH-U11F plugged directly into a computer. I set the hostname in the integration as /dev/ttyUSB0 after a few seconds I get Inverter unreachable.
Any help would be appreciated this is running me crazy.
