I have setup the saml.role.related.user.attribute.name attribute. It works great. However if I have already logged in once and I try to change the role on the IDP side and I login again. My rights are not updated and it keeps the previous role.

I am on 9.0.0.0-423 but it seems to be an old issue https://community.hitachivantara.com/s/question/0D51J00004fdUCx/pentaho-8-role-is-not-refresh-when-configure-with-saml
