Full message view in dashboard view

I use ESPN's Scorecenter app to get sports news pushed to me, and if I don't see it at first, or get another message at the same time, then I will not be able to see the full text, which is usually pushing the 255 characters that a push message can show.

If I were to click on the article, I would not get the headline I was looking for, but it would take me into the app, and I wouldn't be able to get that headline to show anyway.

I was thinking, maybe there could be a scrolling functionality in the dashboard, where you can set it to auto scroll, so the entire message can be viewable.

What if notifications stack up that I don't want to get through first to read that message. There's no option to view any message in that bar. Sometimes I keep notifications around to make sure I don't forget to do them (messages, emails, reminders, etc).
