knowledge graph
A knowledge graph, also known as a semantic network, represents a network of real-world entities—i.e. objects, events, situations, or concepts—and illustrates the relationship between them.
A knowledge graph is made up of three main components: nodes, edges, and labels.
We are Creating knowledge graphs using Obsidian that can be done in a few steps:
create sections: Take an example, like chapter08 exe.summary have 16 subslices so we will start from those.
Create notes: Start by creating notes of exe summary in Obsidian we will connect that in your knowledge graph.
Link between different sections: To create a knowledge graph, we need to link 16subslices of exe summary to chapter. In Obsidian, we can create links between notes by using double square brackets around the section name. For example, ~~~[[8..1.4]]~~~. 8.1.4 will link back to the 8.1.4 section of the chapter.
Visualize graph: Obsidian has a built-in graph view that allows us to visualize chapter and their connections. To access the graph view, click on the graph icon in the left sidebar. From there, we can adjust the layout of our graph and explore the connections between chapter.
Refine and iterate: Creating a knowledge graph is an ongoing process. As we continue to add chapter sections and make connections between them, we may find that our graph evolves and changes over time.
