Parameterize metric scoring functions for more flexibility

1. Abstract sigmoid function to a generic and pass all parameters (this would make sense if there are many metrics that se the sigmoid)
2. modify current metric functions to accept parameters (makes sense is there are a few metrics that use sigmoid).
