Instead of providing conversions from SECOND to HOUR, DAY, etc, provide a chain:

    // ...
    'SECOND' => array(
        'MINUTE' => new \Yeriki\Fractions\Fraction(1, 60),
        'HOUR' => \Quantity\ConversionChain(Uom::MINUTE(), Uom::HOUR()),
        'DAY' => \Quantity\ConversionChain(Uom::HOUR(), Uom::DAY()),
    ),
    // ...
