Confirmed as an issue on the web app, as well as the application provided by piskelapp.com/download.

Steps to reproduce the bug

  1. select the rectangle selection tool
  2. create a selection of any size and release the left mouse button
  3. create a separate selection larger than 1x1, which will discard the original selection. do not release the left mouse button.
  4. observe that the width x height displayed in the bottom right doesn't match the selection area

Environment details

  • operating system: windows 11

  • application version: v0.14.0

  • browser: firefox 124.0.2

  • web app version: v0.15.2
