It would be great if you were able to lock layers, so you cannot change anything to them until unlocking them again.
E.G.: No more drawing on them, no more merging, not accidentally deleting parts, ...

How would changing the frame size factor into frame/layer locking?

I would also like this feature, but with the option of locking frames, too.
i.e. Designating certain frames to not be affected by an 'apply-to-all-frames' action.
