Some packages aren't installing anymore when Git has transfer.fsckObjects set to true #3

For example, on a fresh install, I'm not able to pull down ack.vim and ag.vim.

Not sure why.

I'd wager this is because trying to clone either of those repos results in "zeroPaddedFilemode: contains zero-padded file modes" errors.

edit: should have added this happens with the latest version of git with transfer.fsckObjects set to true (which is now the default).

Ah thanks! I had set transfer.fsckObjects on one machine when I started seeing that problem. Didn't realize the connection.
