The TCPSocket connection is not established with the orbited server unless we place an javascript alert statement.
I Observed this in Opera 11.50.
Sample code:
// Orbited2.js is included
TCPSocket = Orbited2.TCPSocket(); var socket = new TCPSocket({'orbitedUri':"http://localhost:8000"}); socket.open("localhost",7777); socket.onopen = function(){ alert("Connection Established"); }
The above code is not working (Orbited server is running and backend TCP server is also running). But the below code is working
alert("Hi"); // Alert can be placed anywhere below :)
