• Watch lecture videos 73–87, which are now online.

• Read the papers in the section on "Model of Slack with Labor and Product Markets"

• Prepare summary of the readings:

  • Camilla: Unemployment, Vacancies, Wages
  • Matt: The Macroeconomics of Labor and Credit Market Imperfections
  • Olivia: ​Macroeconomic Dynamics in a Model of Goods, Labor, and Credit Market Frictions

• Time permitting, work on your research projects. There is more lecture material than in the previous weeks, and it is a bit more technical, so you should plan to devote more time to it and less time to research this week. Matt should prepare an outline of his research project on a quantitative monetary model of slack. There is interesting empirical evidence in this paper.
