Is there an API to check if a GitHub user (username) is a sponsor of creator? #4450

I am implementing a membership feature that only allows sponsors and subscribers to read articles (a static site, articles are not stored on Polar side).
Currently, I have a login page that only allows logging in with GitHub, I can get logined user's GitHub username. I want to check if the logged user is a subscriber or not, then decide whether to respond the article content. |

Yes, we're supported in Given the above and with the sunsetting of newsletters (where our ad benefit could be used), we're going to deprecate our own ad benefit in favour of Sponsorkit so since you're getting setup, I recommend going with Sponsorkit directly 🙂 |

Yes, we're supported in
Sponsorkit
which is great for this use case and can merge sponsors/subscribers from GitHub, Patreon, Polar and more.https://github.com/antfu-collective/sponsorkit
