So far I have only seen this issue on thelio-mira-r3. Using kernel 6.0.12 when I boot mira-r3 with a device plugged in to one of the USB 2.0 ports, it works fine. Once I unplug that USB device all of the USB 2.0 ports die and will not work again until the system is rebooted. This behavior is also present in the 6.1.6 kernel.

When I tested for this behavior in kernel 6.0.6 it was not present, the USB 2.0 ports worked normally.

I have a little bit of output from journalctl and dmesg when it failed:
journalctl.log
dmesg.log

I just tested for this behavior with the mainline kernel 6.0.7 installed, and this behavior is present with that kernel as well.

This issue has now been identified in thelio-major-r3, which is another X670 based system.
