JAX RS applications may define an application path using the @javax.ws.rs.ApplicationPath annotation.
It works this way. Given a context path of /api/v1, an application path of /book-app, then all request URIs will begin with /api/v1/book-app.

Our custom path matching does not support application paths containing * or ?.
