Can't Run BoostPow API by Following Instructions in ReadMe

Can somebody please help me by either updating the README or holding my hand to get a successful build of the BoostPOW API to run on my local machine?

This issue was brought to my attention by @DanielKrawisz and I attempted myself to follow the instructions in the README, but no luck.

Can somebody help please?
