There are lots of kinds of trigger that twarc doesn't have a data mapping for. If it skipped over converting the trigger if it already "looked" like a trigger, then this would work.

How about :builder option for make-trigger? If it's passed it would be used as a builder instead of TriggerBuilder/newTrigger. Will it solve your problem?

I think so, as I could call the methods I need on my builder before twarc takes it over.
