Picklist events not always return an array

Current behavior
The picklist component emits these events:

(onMoveToTarget)="test($event)"
(onMoveAllToTarget)="test($event)"
(onMoveToSource)="test($event)"
(onMoveAllToSource)="test($event)"

Sometimes the event.items returns an array and sometimes it has the object. I think it's specific to the event fired.

Expected behavior
I'd expect it to always return an array even for a single item, as it's documented this way.
