Describe the bug

The MultiSelect Dropdown selections are not working as expected when usingTemplate mode
Primeng Version: 16.9.0
The issue is reproducible on the primeng demo

Steps to reproduce the behavior

  1. Goto MultiSelect/Template
  2. Click on any of the countries from the dropdown
  3. Check in the input field

Expected behavior

  1. The selected dropdown option should appear
