This repository has been archived by the owner on Sep 2, 2022. It is now read-only.
This issue gives a brief update on the development status of Prisma 1.
Prisma 1 is deprecated on Sept, 1st 2022
Prisma 1 has been in ‘maintenance mode’ for 2,5 years now and we’re thrilled to see that the vast majority of our Prisma 1 users have now successfully upgraded to one of the latest versions of Prisma (see all releases here).
To continue to focus our engineering resources to improve our Prisma ORM and to continue to develop our cloud product Prisma Data Platform, we have decided to fully deprecate Prisma 1 on September 1st, 2022.
This means that we will archive the Prisma 1 GitHub repository and we will no longer provide fixes for critical bugs, develop new features, or provide support for user issues.
Prisma 4+ in production
More than 100,000 users have chosen to build their modern applications with Prisma - check out all the customer stories here.
The best way to get started with the latest version of Prisma is by following the Quickstart or exploring the ready-to-run examples.
Thanks for using Prisma 1 and see you over at the new Prisma ORM.
