Repository Roles and Responsibilities

The number of frequent contributors has grown quite a bit since we started working on ProbNum about two years ago now. To reflect this change also in the responsibilities I would like everyone to think what role they would like to take in the library development. The following roles with privileges and responsibilities are available. Note that changes in role are possible at any time.

Repository Roles

Admin

• full administrative privileges in repository
• organization of the development process

Maintainer

• Responsibility for all parts of the package
  • Bug fixes
  • documentation
  • build process and infrastructure
  • reviews
• Overall package design

Code Owner

• Subpackage design and structure
• Review of changes to owned modules and packages

Triage

• Issue management and triage

Contributor

• Code contributions
