Reproduction steps

In automation, some devices were found to become unresponsive after use. It appears that if the deferred persistent store is used, a leak in the SDK can cause the SDK to stop responding over time.

A PR was put up here: #31075

Bug prevalence

Always, when DeferredAttributePersister is used
