Dear community, I think I found a bug:

Version

Version 2.3.0-rc1+win64

Operating system type + version

Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.19042.685]

3D printer brand / version + firmware version (if known)

Prusa MK3S Firmware 3.9.1 - Steel sheet

Behavior

I like to leave printing overnight multiple objects that take a long time to print 8+ hours. I want to optimize the bed surface to place as many objects as possible while keeping the printing output safe.

I have some small discs 1 cm high that you can see on the following album as a reference. As you can see if I use the auto arrange function to seek for alignment optimization, the items are placed so at the borders of the sheet that the skirt falls out of the printing area. As a result Prusa slicer tells me it cannot proceed because items are outside the printing area.

There seems to be an error on how the Auto arrange function works, to reproduce just click on arrange and then try to slice.

To reproduce the error, just place multiple objects like shown in the screen shot and use the auto arrange function.

This is a known issue, already tracked in #3477, #5286, #5310 and maybe others. Closing as a duplicate. Hopefully we'll get to improve this one day.
