Summary (Product Owner)

From Figgy user (sponsored account, but not princeton.edu account)

Your reply and screencast tutorial of figgy was most helpful. I was able to log into the figgy system, but have run into some difficulties accessing the videos to see how the subtitles are overlaid in the videos. I also seem to be just kicked out of some of the videos/metadata pages, not even able to access any of the information. All of this should be included in the screencast I recorded as well.

Browsers used: Firefox and Safari (see #6571 as well. probably connected)

Figgy Project Affected: https://figgy.princeton.edu/catalog/a18c497a-6df1-470d-abd7-69488d1e7aad

Content affected: seems to be just the video BUT something looks odd with permissions/banner (see demo link from stakeholder below)

the stakeholder is only added as a user in figgy, and then external person in the ephemera project itself.

User Story (Product Owner, when applicable)

As a [persona], I want to [describe intent], so that [explain the big problem you are trying to solve and its benefit]

Impact (Product Owner)

Please include hard deadlines, if the exhibit is part of an event, the issue is stopping work, etc.
This work is needed to complete phase for grant, that Jenn Garcon wrote letter of support for that includes the items being available in DPUL by next year. The soft launch was hoped to be by December 15, but not possible. Hard launch with larger programming is expected by 2025.

Priority recommendation (Product Owner)

  • asap
  • within the next 3 weeks
  • PO will prioritize

Sudden Priority Justification (Product Owner)

Required if "asap" or "within the next 3 weeks" is checked. Add "Sudden Priority" and "dls-work-cycle" labels
