Advanced users (and developers) would benefit from having greater insight into why packages X, Y and Z might have been included in a copy operation. It can be incredibly difficult to debug even when you have full control over the code running on the system and without that control it can be nearly impossible.

DNF provides a --debugsolver flag which dumps a myriad of data and log files into a directory for analysis, we can do something similar.
