As far as I know the battery voltage is measured by connecting a voltage devider (two resistors) between + and - of battery and then feeding a ADC. This resistor consumes energy of the battery. So if you connect it only while measuring the battery level you can save energy. How is it done with MiThermometer? Is it connected only while measuring battery voltage? If so: How much energy consumes measuring current battery voltage?
If so how about measuring battery level only every hour? That would prolong batterylife even longer.
