I am going to your documentation page: https://pydata-sphinx-theme.readthedocs.io/en/latest/

I want to search on your website but face certain problems:

  1. Ctrl + K is a shortcut on my Firefox to enter the Firefox search using its assigned search engine. I.e. pressing Ctrl + K selects the address line and typing will then use (search-engine) to search...
  2. Pressing the "Search Ctrl +K" field at the top navbar (just left of the Dark | Light button) does not allow me to type anything in the field. I.e. it is not reachable.

This is rather unfortunate since I basically can't search anything on your pages... :(

thanks for reporting. this is the result of an unrelated bug that makes the search bar javascript not get executed. will hopefully soon be fixed by #1416

meanwhile, search should still work on the "stable" site https://pydata-sphinx-theme.readthedocs.io/en/stable/
