What's the problem this feature will solve?

There's big ugly stack trace, when something goes wrong with HTTPS request.

Describe the solution you'd like

I think it can be tidied up into simple error or maybe even pause and waiting for reconnection, so it will tell you it errored, and will try to continue after connection restored.

Alternative Solutions

Looking at stack trace like dumb.

Additional context

When download is interrupted while downloading package.

Duplicate of #8641. Improving this is more complicated than you’d expect since there’s a retry stack involved. But feel free to give it a try.
