Once #284 is well on its way, I imagine there might be some users who'd like a dedicated PyPI mobile app (maybe based on BeeWare)? @jaraco as a maintainer of scores of PyPI projects, is this something you'd like? An app would let the user stay logged in (unlike a lot of web browser experiences) and enable push notifications.
The mobile-optimized web version is great and I don't want to take away maintainer focus from that, but if volunteers want to talk about what they would want in a PyPI mobile app and/or if anyone wants to volunteer to collaborate on one, I figure this is a good place for that. (The resulting codebase may belong in a new repo.)

I could see how it would be nice to get push notifications for new releases or other events, though I’d personally be happy with IRC or Slack notifications as those also generate push notifications through the relevant app.
I think overall there are other wishes I’d opt for before a mobile app.
