🐛 Describe the bug

It seems that the previous MD5 checksum problem happend again. And only the valid_x has the program, the valid_y is ok with the checksum.

from torchvision.datasets.utils import download_file_from_google_drive, _decompress

archive_name = "camelyonpatch_level_2_split_valid_x.h5.gz"

_decompress(base_folder + archive_name)

It could be related to the recent changes in gdrive behavior that are also affecting gdown users: wkentaro/gdown#291. Torchvision seems to implement their own gdrive handling which might need a little revamp to keep up with the ever-changing APIs.

i want to show you my dependencies , but i don't know how to print my dependencies

Thank you for the report everyone. As @florczakraf noted this is due to a change in the google drive apis. We've decided that this isn't the kind of logic we want to handle in torchvision, so from now on we will be relying on gdown as an optional dependency, to download datasets that rely on google drive. These changes should be available in the next bugfix release (0.17.1) which will be released in the coming weeks. Until then, the recommended fix is to download the required files (all of them) manually. Thank you for the reports and for your patience.

I'll keep this issue open for now to direct users to it when necessary.

Hi everyone, torchvision 0.17.1 is out and the download util should now be fixed. For it to work, you'll need to pip install gdown. I'll close this issue as it should hopefuly be resolved, but let us know if you encounter any further issue. Thank you all for the reports.
