The following is an idea I want to promote and it will benefit all web based software.
Please up vote for Type=Webapp on Linux https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/xdg/desktop-file-utils/-/issues/62
Objective: Once applied, it would also be an insentive for web based software developers to add support for such use-case, and it would motivate package managers to apply it on their distros respectively.
