Does qbittorrent support hardware acceleration of Secure Hash Algorithm (SHA) ?

I guess qBittorent needs to do SHA for every block of data when downloading, right? If yes, I want to know if qbittorrent supports hardware acceleration of SHA. I have some old platforms may not support hardware acceleration and am checking if this is one cause of high CPU usage. Thank you!

It depends on libtorrent which in turn depends on OpenSSL (or other SSL library you are using).

Thanks for answer. May I know when the hash checking is done ? Does the qBittorrent do the hash checking as long as one block is fetched from peers or must wait the whole file is fetched and then do the hash checking for the all blocks? The former may affect the download speed if the CPU is not powerful and doesn't support hardware acceleration of SHA, while the latter may introduce the complex software design because the qBittorrent can not release the connections with peers before the hash checking for the all blocks is done. If release the connections, how does it deal in case that some blocks are broken?
