Lost all searches

HI there. Used QBT for a number of years, very successfully. However, recently was offered an update which I did. And now nothing. It came back to say no search engines installed. I found some and installed. (Bearing in mind I am a complete novice at this!!!) However still nowt. I am in the UK and successfully used QBT for UK TV series/films. Now none of the search engines find anything I want, just rubbish and porn.
Anybody help me out? This was a great asset to me until I updated. Worst thing I ever did.......

Please help...give me a search engine that works for the content I want.....(UK tv series etc)
